Going to give myself a PJ

PJ = Paintjob :P

Im thinking about giving my MIM P bass a new color, but Im not completely sure yet. Im thinking about doing a pastel type of deal.

Im going to test it out on a cheap strat copy guitar I have, but I have no idea where to start.

Can anyone help me or maybe a link to a repainting tutorial?
