You should create some kind of way to brand this bass, or at least give it a serial number. Even if this is just for you, it's good to mark the number and date you made this bass.
I admire the love that went into this. Favorite part is that it's wood that came from your grandfather.
Thanks again. |

Well that's certainly an elegant way to cover it up.

Body template and measurements should be accurate. Before cutting the body, I would layout the neck using measurements to determine the taper and width at the top end of the body to get the side lines right at the neck pocket extension.
No guarantees but hopefully this will result in playable basses. Pages are "C" size. Plans are free for personal use, but if you make money from them, send me some for my efforts. |

Thanks again. | Yes, I've been thinking about marking it some way. I'm open to suggestions on how to do that. Woodburning tool to scribe a number? Decals of some sort? Stamp a number somewhere? Scratch it in with a screwdriver?

Basically, you print onto a layer of dried glue. Then you spray your graphic with a layer of acrylic. To apply it, you hold it under water for about 30 seconds, and then stick it to whatever you want. I want to use this to put a graphic on a build I'm planning on doing (sorry, not the headless ) You can then finish over it normally.

MX | Whatever you decide it's your deal. Look to some of your favorite guitars and see what they do. I was going to say put a logo on the head, but uh.... |
