hi guys need help.

Sign in to disble this ad
im thinking of moving the input jack on my axl 5er as im in the middle of modding it to look like an sr5.

and i was looking into getting a new jack as it will need a longer barrel to get to the control cavity than just fixed to a plate with the pots.

anyone know where i can find a site or know wat jack is in the sr5's?

here are some pics

The drill should be just large enough to run the few wires freely so they won't get snagged in there and strip the insulation of the wires. You could probably get a sliding 3 way at radio shack or a place similar. I haven't seen to many sliding ones (a tele selector switch would be another decent choice) so it may have to be special ordered. Size could vary, but it isn't too much trouble to cut the slot a little bigger to compensate. Best of luck.
