You can buy both rosewood and ebony drumsticks ,$60 a set I think it was.
Anyway I was just wondering if hickory would hold up well to years of playing.A prototype could take years to show if wear was going to be an issue.
Hickory is 1820 on the Janka hardness scale making it a little softer than purple heart @1860.But hickory is somewhat porous would that cause a problem?
