Well I just have to spout off as to what a cool company they are. I dropped by to pickup my lowly $321 order and got treated like a huge company.
I got the full tour and it was amazing, Rick guys you need to check out the new Rick bridge, wow heavy metal, years ago I had a 76 Rick and replaced the original bridge with a badass2 and I had thought that was an upgrade, but their new one is a quantum leap.
Also saw a bunch of Ghost Piezo Bridges, it appears that they are using them and they look great.
Jason took me on the tour and he couldn't have been a better host and tour guide, very knowledgeable and a very nice guy.
I met Dave and had a nice discussion and tried to convince them they need to get into the headless single tuner market. He said they have been thinking about it.
If I were to tell you all the brand name makers that Hipshot makes, you would be astonished, I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it with my own eyes. It was like a parade of the bass maker greats as I went by each of the stations.
To end this up I'm a small builder, yet I felt like I was as big as any of the famous guys. They treated me great and I can't recommend them more highly, the owner of the company took time out of his very busy day to chat. I will continue to suggest to all my clients to use Hipshot.
And in a last note I told them I'm still waiting for a 6 string trem, it may be a possibility in the future.
If anyone wants more in-depth descriptions I'd be happy to expand with more details.
Dirk

If I created any delays it would be max and hour or so SOM. LOL
It was a blast to see all the parts in egg cartons to protect them and keep them separate. I wish I could say I saw your order, so many names I recognized though. If you get anywhere near there drop in and visit, they really did make me feel welcome.

I didn't just want to start listing who's bridges I saw being made there, but I guess they never said I can't tell anyone, never signed a non-disclosure or anything.
But they were so nice, I just didn't want to step on anyones toes. Now that I think about it, I'm sure it doesn't matter at all to Hipshot, but the builders might be the ones to not want that info spread.

DONE
now let's call it a day
I love this appreciation thread, I think hipshot should sponsor a thread on here someplace, so they could know how much we love them. Although, they do have their own forums now.
but, $$$, I still want to save my pennies so I can get everything I want, all in one shot...
heheh, no pun intended.
The only thing that I really want from hipshot though, is different styles of T-Shirts and baseball caps. |

Josh | And without a doubt the worst email following.
Good luck getting answers other than on the phone.
Great products though. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
