how to burst
 

Hey all,

after years of debating what to do with a japanese short scale bass, i finally decided on everything from pickups to body wood. I have this cool design i want to do on a blue burst finish.

one problem: i have no idea how to go about doing a burst finish... i want it to burst from a light blue interior to a dark blue almost but 2 shades before getting black on the edges.

Procedures, tips, techniques.
