Question How do I ground a P at bridge?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi. I was wondering if someone can tell me how exactly I place the ground wire under the bridge. What is the concavity right under where the bridge sits? Do I put a small screw in there and wrap the ground around it???

Thanks !!!

Usually, the wire just comes out of a hole underneath the bridge, and sits on the body surface and just contacts the bridge.

Can anyone suggest a way to achieve a more solid ground at the bridge? I'm surprised that the wire is simply contacting the bridge, and not soldered or otherwise connected. Perhaps the ground is solid enough since the bridge clamps the groundwire securely.

There are ways to have a more solid connection, but why would you need it? The ground wire isn't in very much danger of being pulled away from the bridge and the clamping pressure of the bridge is going to be pretty high.
