How to use Veneer

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi people im new here so dont flame me for asking stupid questions, i have searched a bit for this but cant seem to find anything.
Im making a double neck bass this year for an a-level project, im using swamp ash as the main body but im wondering how to put a veneer of either oak burl or walnut burl on top, how difficult it would be to do, how thick the veneer can be and how to apply it, and would it be a problem while routing?

cheers

The question's been asked before, and answered well enough to keep me happy. For the most recent info, check over here Using veneer. . ..
