Talking I made a fretless.

Well, "made", anyways. I took my old P bass and put a Mighty Mite fretless neck on it, along with some new machine heads. Took a little bit of work to get the neck in the pocket, but it plays really well now. I'm quite pleased.

Looks good. Did you modify the neck to fit the pocket or viceversa.

my old fretless P looked just like that only mine was a lined fretless

I modified the pocket, since I wanted to keep the neck in the best shape I could. That neck is worth more than I bought the bass for.

i just bought a mighty mite neck. still waiting for it.
and i bought pickup cover like that aswell.

this is a bit of a weird but what is that rubber thingy under the end of the fretboard for?

It's a tug bar. You use it as a finger anchor so you can play with your thumb. I threw it on to vintage-ize it. I'll use it once in a while when my fingers are cold, but it's mostly for looks and that old-school vibe.

Anyone know what hardware will fit in the tuner holes? Hipshot, other?
