Info on uncommon exotics

just looking for some info on a few woods I've been looking at.

Kingwood-any advice accepted

African Sandalwood/Tambootie- Very heavy and hard wood, supposed to be a substitue to african black wood except it is heavier and not as hard (inference to a warmer tone). Any further info or personal experience would help

Mgugure/African Leadwood- Very Dark, Very Heavy and hard wood. Any info at all would be helpful, description suggests a warm yet articulate tone.

I'm gonna have a custom built some time down the road so I'm doing research, looking to build a fretless neck-through, strung F#-B-E-A (low to high), single passive neck humbucker, minimal controls. Looking for tone woods, that are very warm and dark with a lot of bass (considering rosewoods and mahogany just looking for superior alternitives). Not out to make a versatile bass just a one trick pony that does the lowend to the extreme with no compromises. (understand wood is just a compliment bu as i said no compromises). Thanks for any info in advance. \m/

kingwood is a rosewood

good fretboard wood, stays a bit more purple than EAst indian rosewood
but not as purple as camatillo or para kingwood (which is very very rare)
bios de rose (madagascar rosewood is also similar in look but leaves a horrible taste on the back of the throat even in high ventilation)

you want warm and dark
Id say mahogany (you cant go wrong with it) genuine or african
and a rosewood/ebony board
and whatever top you want at 1/4"-3/8"

thanks that was the way I was going, any idea which particular rosewood would be best for me. 90% I'm going to go with a desert ironwood top. So I'm guessing no one has much experience with leadwood (Combretum imberbe)
