Interesting vise/press?

Hey guys.

So during my usual/obsessive perusing of cl, I came upon a big old vise - I've never seen one quite like it before. I thought it was interesting; also, it might be useful for guitar builders (bookmatching bodies or tops? Any other ideas?). Decent price, too, for a big chunk of old iron. Thought you might like to see it.

$100.00 not bad I was thinking of a way to set broken bones with it you could pick up some extra scratch on the weekends.

$100 is a decent price, especially for one that clean.
I'd say it's never been used for its intended application.

The ratchet type sliding jaw is also a real bonus if You have different thicknesses of stock to cut.
Speeds things up considerably.
