I just made the body template and put it next to another neck template to give you perspective.

Congratulations to you for getting a major player to order an instrument from you. That is a big step in the right direction. May I ask how that came to fruition?

Thanks. I thought of my favorite bass player and out of the blue I sent him an email seeing if he might want a custom bass. I honestly didn't think it would work, but here we are.

if i sent you picture of a bass, could you do a rendering of it for me. that would be really great. i did it on paint, so its not the best, but decent. but i would really love a rendering like that

I know Seth a little bit, he's done some work with my friends Joel Ackerson and Amber Rubarth. A fantastic player, well done!

Wow. My Thumb bass meets my Dingwall dream bass meets my favorite color. Do you take checks from poor people?

Thanks guys. It has a 35" scale B string and 33" scale G string. I don't have any sound clip mainly because I haven't started building it yet...

Here is my CAD drawing of what the fanned frets will look like. I'll go ahead and plot this out full-size to make sure the frets are aligned perfectly. It has a 35" scale B string and a 33" scale G string with the 9th fret straight.

Tons of work done in a few hours today. I bookmatched the quilted maple, glued to body blank up with a black veneer between the 2 sides, made a wenge fretboard blank and pretty much made a neck blank. I just need to glue all the boards together.
