How many builders are participating in this build?
Perhaps each of you could have a logo as a souvenir.

That is a great idea.

Polish up both sides and use it as a necklace

Either that or we are going to have to do at least nine more community builds

I just wanted to chime in and say this is really amazing what you luthiers are doing. What a great, generous and kind action!

I think the 2 screw points with a couple of chrome tuner screws and a little epoxy will make for a nice secure logo

Yeah, this logo has enough meat on it for tuner screws. The ones I use are to thin. I have to buy an eye glass repair kit to get screws small enough to mount them.

Ill send one with and one without screw holes. I think it would look better if it was just glued on with no screws, but I would be worried about it falling off in the future. So I will leave that decision to whoever is mounting it.

Yeah, I have had epoxied metal fall off, so I prefer screws, but seeing as Phil is going to do the finishing in Australia, I'll leave it to him

I may be a little nuts, but I like that idea, with a pic of the finished bass. so maybe mounted on a plaque with a pic frame of sorts.

I'll let you guys run with that stuff....LOL. I just want to get the Bass done by Easter so it can be on it's way to Alex in Australia and that is where it will end for me. Knowing Alex gets something decent out of this debauchle known as Mike Pearson, is what I am shooting for. LMAO
