im looking for web sites with information on how to build basses. im relaly intrested in learning to assemble and custom build my own basses. i would apreciate any input or advice. im also looking for book recomendations. thanx

There is a site called mimf.com (musical instr. maker forum) that has a lot of info and plans. I bought a book by Melvin Hiscock called "Make your own electric guitar". It has a section on making a neck thru bass, plus lot's of other helpful info. Hope this helps.
