I think I may have got a good deal, for the first time at least.
Each panel is 8x20x.225". Total cost with shipping $52.
So, was it a good deal?
Also, I am just too tempted to plane off some of the top of my headless build for this top (Currently Cherry). |

Maybe i'll just go ahead and check the weight every couple of days to see if there is any extra moisture in it. |

Looks like the first might not be long enough for my bass (around 21"), I'll keep it and use it on another future project.
Each panel is 26 1/2" x 9 5/8" x 1/4" @ $60  |

| | | | yeah thats the problem i have found with many ebay tops, theyre not long enough. i was lucky a few weeks ago to score a set of spalted maple, 28 x 8 x 3/8

My spector euro has close to the grain and figure of this one. |

Swamp Ash for the body wings core, Quilted Maple for the back, Some more Quilted Maple for the top, Purpleheart behind for all the accents, Wenge for the fingerboard, Fiddleback Maple for the neck

Got this from Meads and son Hardwoods on ebay. Mmmmm, claro walnut. Think I paid 30 bucks for it. As soon as I can make up my mind on headless hardware, this will be split and become a bookmatched top for build number 2.
Just noticed these guys are no longer registered sellers on ebay...
