That's not that big of a deal, but the fretless action might suffer a bit with that set up. Anyone should be able to do it for you. Talk to any of the builders on here, or someone in your area. Good luck with it.

I never ordered from soulmate but I did email him with my specs for a bass neck (at that time, he didn't even advertise that he made bass necks). His response was quick and he seemed open to making the neck to my specs (33" 4 string bolt on 24 fret). Reasonable price quote, too. I hope this is your experience as well.

he came back and he seems VERY cool. I just need som standard dimensions for a six string bass neck. I need the nut width and the end of the fingerboard width.

What if you made the fretless part the same height as the top of the frets? (or almost as high.)
Then you'd have perfect action on both parts...

That's a great idea, and it has been done. It would assume that the perfect action (above the fret crowns) for fretted is the same as the perfect action (above the fingerboard) for fretless. Could be true, but not necessarily.

Also, FWIW, doing this is covered by a patent, which I believe is in force.

it depends on the string spacing you want at the nut and bridge
