Luthier school in OC or LA area?

Im sure this is in here already as a thread, but I was wondering if anyone knows where is the best luthier school in the Orange County/ Los Angelas CA area? I would love take some general bass building classes.

The only one I know of is the Guitar Craft Academy from Musicians Institute. I haven't seen any instruments that came out of the place myself but a friend of mine who's judgement I trust has and wasn't overly impressed. I think the course covers buildinga traditional bolt on electric.

Might not be the best option when you consider what is available nationally, but at least you're lucky enough to have something local to you that you can get your foot in the door with.
