| IIRC, buzzing on the low frets 1-5 is caused by insufficient concavity (not enough upbow).
Buzzing on the higher frets is caused by excess convexity (too much backbow). On instruments that have only a single-action trussrod, this might not be correctable without a luthier's help.
In both instances, you'll have to loosen the trussrod, which is usually achieved by turning it counterclockwise. (Righty tighty, lefty loosey). |
