And here it is...
The pickups are from Magnetics, the bridge from kahler, it has a pine body with a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard.
I made the body myself. I bought the neck on a Vintage guitar show a couple of years ago. It sounds very much like a Jazz bass really but the active magnetics pickups give a real punch and piano-like clarity.

THANKS | HEY! I play a Yamaha RBX-170 and a Yamaha Pacifica, too!
Ain't nothin' wrong with the looks of them, and is CERTAINLY nothing wrong with their sound or playability!
I think the bass is pretty, cool, too...
The headstock is a bit strange, however...and what's up with the string retainer where it is?

First time I've thought about how the aesthetics are connected to the type of 'fashion' of a musical genre. To me, those shapes don't stir up thoughts of "metal" music, I immediately think about the 'futuristic' shapes that Gibson came up with in the 50's, like the flying V, etc. That's what your bass reminds me of.
At any rate, I love it and hope you enjoy your handiwork for years to come... |

THANKS | Funny thing is that most people think the RBX and Pac look better than the BB. xD
