Mahogany

I just ordered a mahogany body blank from Warmoth. Now I know I want to clear stain it (bring out it's beautiful reds) but I'm in the dark here. Oil stains, water based, lacquer, epoxy, urethane? What would be best for it?

(Just don't want to search through 50 threads consisting of 400 posts about the same thing, just want an answer)

I would go with a dark grain filler, then sanding sealer coats, a toner if necessary to adjust color, then clears, all in nitro lacquer.
