Making particle board?

Sign in to disble this ad
Is it possible to make particle board out of scrap wood? It seems I have a quasi infinite amount of woodchips in my basement, and was wondering if I could make anything out of it. Has anyone tried making particle board out of it or something? The ecologist in me would be somewhat satisfied knowing I could reuse all this scrap.

I believe the process for making particle board invoves lots of some bonding agent and even more pressure. Not something generally available in the home shop.
