A thing of beauty indeed.

(And I'm over here chipping paint off my P bass trying to install straplocks in it. )
thank you

STUNNING!

Except for the back control cavity cover - is that not even around the edges? just looks a little wonky (not that i could do any better!)

I didn't realize all that was purpleheart - it looks pretty brown to me in the photos, so I thought the nut was the only PH piece. I stand corrected.

Wowowoow! This is really really nice

Is the bridge p-up longer than the neck one? They usually are the same size. I like those p-ups. They are my favorite Barts.

I would have probably added a small Purpleheart detail somewhere else on the front, just to tie with the nut. Like, PH p-ups covers or PH position dots... or PH knobs. or....let the PH show in the truss rod adjustment slot. But that's just me

Congrats! Really cool bass

..thanks.. my fav pickups too... actually its to different pkups... the bridge is from one set ( my client has the neck position on his bass) and the neck position is also a bridge position pickup.. it was my client pickup but he decided to go with a wider string spacing, so that pickup could not be used any more for the bridge position.. so I made use of it in my personal build.... hope that makes sense...

The bridge pickup is the X5 narrow sb and the neck is the X4 narrow sb

I thought so Great looking bass and killer electronics. The Bart pre is sweet. Your client will be very happy. Any sound clip for the rest of us?

Maurizio
