| Measuring tuner hole size - which diameter?

I have an allparts replacement precision neck. I'm looking at putting in hipshot ultralites. Do I measure the hole size from the front of the headstock (decal side), or from the back? The measurement from the front is 11/16ths, but the measurement from the back is 9.5/16ths. I'm not sure which size to go with for the ultralites. |
