MM Neck Too Small for MM Body??

Sign in to disble this ad
I should have tested fitment before I went and finished everything. But I'm in the final stages of my Jazz Bass build and I just did a test fit, and the neck is WAY too small for the body. The body has been filled, primed and painted and the neck has been tru oiled. I don't understand how this can be, I thought the mighty mite parts were fairly well made and consistant. Both were bought at guitar center.

I'm going to try the MM neck on my Squier VM Jazz to see how it fits. Maybe I can figure out if it's the neck that's too small or the neck pocket that's too big.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do. I'm really beside myself about this, I don't know what to do now.

HELP!

Experience is something you get just after you need it.
