Modding my first bass. A few questions.

Okay, so I got this old Kasino brand Pbass that a friend let me have ages ago and has just been sitting in a corner sense(it's crap). Then recently I decided hat I'm going to super mod it cause I've always wanted a nice Pbass.

I'm using just the body, so its going to be a heavy mod.

This will be my first mod though, so I'm a little confused about pickup wiring

I'm going to get some SD Quarter Pound pickups, and I can't really tell from websites and stuff, but when I buy them will they come with the pots, or do I have to buy those separately? And if so, I'm assuming I'm going to need to get a soldering gun?

Thanks for your help.

You will need to buy pots, wire, solder, capacitor, and shielding tape\paint. Yes, you will also need a soldering iron or gun. Good luck with the mod, post some progress pics too.
