Moon Jazz bass

I've always wanted a Moon Larry Graham signature Jazz bass . I'm not crazy enough to paint a fret board white but out of curiosity how would that be done? I'm sure the Moon fret board is ebony; hence the smooth appearance. Would any of you attempt this feat?

Paint the whole board frets and all, then polish the paint off afterwards I would think. Same thing as fender with maple boards.

I figured it was an maple neck. Maple necks are always lacquered, so they just used white lacquer. Prince's guitar had a painted maple fingerboard too.

The website says:

"Maple on Ebony or Maple on Maple"

They show the ebony fingerboard basses, so I'd say his is maple.

Thanks guys. The maple fret board would make painting a Jazz Bass much more feasible because they are plentiful. I will do this one day, mark my words. An all white Fender Jazz.
