yo, i have experience working with wood i took a course in woodworking (campbelton n-b) and im looking forward on building my first bass. im playing a 6 srting right now and im thinking on building either a 7 or 8 string. i was thinking about buyng a graphite neck does anyone have any idea where i could find such a thing? |

Starting with inexpensive wood sounds like very good advice. I started with Maple and Poplar as the main woods, so with it not breaking the band, it takes of some of that pressure of making a mistake causing you to make a mistake!
What tunings would you use for either of those instruments? |
