I've always had nice dealings with Moses and sharp guys like Ned Steinberger and Emmett Chapman have partnered with them on projects of their own. I live here in Eugene (where Moses is located) and haven't heard anything in regard to them struggling or anything. Steve Mosher does have a good reputation here but I don't personally know him, however, so I can't vouch for them entirely.

If you are totally stuck, PM me. I could do a drive by. Their shop is not far from my house.

Hey!! Someone from Eugene, finally!! Did you take your forum name from the rock band?

Mosher seems to be hit and miss sometimes ......

cheers...Larry Davis

Hi Larry,

We can't be the only Eugenians on the site, can we?

Yes, Shriekback is one of my all-time favorite bands (especially their real early minimalist stuff) and it always seems to be an available user name. Just a couple of weeks ago we had Dave Allen (bassist from Shriekback and Gang of Four) down from Portland to speak at the university. I got to spend the evening with him drinking beer (at the Bier Stein) and talking--a genuinely nice guy, and very reflective and interesting.

Sorry to hear Mosher's rep. is not as solid as I had thought it was.

Best regards,

Steven
