The gold hardware really works, especially with the flamed maple body cores. Elegant, yet very original. I'd be so afraid to try to make a bass with a bridge like that. I'm sure you've got it balanced and intonated exactly precise.
AND DON'T SAND IT ANY FURTHER! I love the subdued soft glow of the satin finish. It looks awesome. |

A few years ago I made a neck that way and it played a lot better once I did some decent shaping on it.. |

The neck is pretty damn thin and honestly I was afraid of coming to close to the trussrod pockets. IMO, I like it becasue it matches the 40 inch radius (pretty damn flat.)fretboard well. |
