I am waiting for my Squier Mike Dirnt Precision Bass in the mail. It has a QP installed so it should sound frickin sweet!
Well I want to mod it like the photoshop above and I'd like to get peoples input!
Specs...
Colour: I'd actually like to colour it burgundy mist and keep the star
Pickguard: White or PG-less
Pickups: Darkstar neck, Qp middle, ??? Bridge
Bridge: Stock until I hit the lottery and get a BAII
Wiring: 3 stacked knobs vol/tone one for each pup, Kill switch or Active/passive switch (see below)
Other: Fender 1951 precision ri or Squier 50's CV precision neck (2nd neck shown in pic)
I was thinking about it active with a switch to make it passive. If I do 9 or 18? I know the difference between the 2 but I'm just asking what you would want. Also I know I'm just going to put the cheapest pup I can find but after I get some more money what pickup I should get?
Thx for the help! |

But seriously, this seems like a great idea and good luck man!
Hope it works!
Peace

But Tommy, I hope you get this. And if you decide to do a J pup or something, PM Stickk. He has a few spares.
