My Dad has an old Wal, which he wants to get rid of

I don't know a great deal about it, but it was made in the 80s. Custom job, beautiful wood, 4 string fretless.

Are these worth more now that Pete has stopped, or is it worth holding onto?

Thanks,
Dan.

In all honesty, I would hang on to it for a good while.

God Bless

But if you or your dad want to sell it, become a supporting member here - lot of folks here would be interested.
Meanwhile, you can get a good idea of it's value for seeing what other Wal's have sold for recently in the classifieds.

For love of god, tell your dad you DONT "get rid of" Wal, you either sell it after you did A LOT of investigation on its value, or you keep it for you grandchildren children.
And post a pic, wal=drool...

Sorry, I wasn't aware of the rules. I've told him to hold onto it time and time again, but he's got a pretty hefty tax bill coming and he seems unconvincable!

Cheers for your help anyway!

Well I'll pay a whole two dollars! That's right, over four times the value! I'll even pay shipping!
