Hope the link works, I don't know how to stick it on an upload site or that html stuff!

I'm going back to the local luthier working on this every week and will take update pics

Basically it's a big 2 piece slab of David Dyke's swamp ash with some custom kent armstrongs and a status MM5 neck (MM5 neck's our my fav neck's of all time and what I have been used to every since I've been playin in my band Hope the graphite thing works out ok!)

I desinged the shape which is why it is pretty darn ugly haha, not quite sure what it reminds me of tho? anyone out there have any ideas?. It's 2 inches thick so theres gonna be some sexy rounding all over the place!

{=)

the way the horns are shaped makes me think of a wal, but with the booty a bit out. its like the top half is a wal, and the bottom a p bass. Nice job though, I wish my first were coming along so well. I still need body wood, and then I get my turn.

If the Status neck is heavier than a wooden neck, then that in combination with the upper horn going to only the 15th fret is very likely to give you neckdive balance issues. I'd count on using lightweight tuners.

I should really have made the top horn longer! I hope and pray that correct placement of the strap button and light tuners will help this thing balance otherwise I'm screwed...

A call to experts who reckon this thing will neckdive!? I have a bit of room to play with at the bottom and am going to bring the neck further into the body and the bridge further towards the end!

I hate to tell you, that probably will neck-dive, not chambering it would help, but it would also make it heavier
