Here's a pic of my latest bass.
-alder body with curved EIR top
-wenge set neck with wenge fretboard, dual action truss rod and optic fiber side dots
-brass tuners/bridge, made in-house by me
-Duncan passive soapbars
-nitro finish on body, satin on the back, gloss on the front
-oil finish on the neck and fb.
I haven't tried it thru amp yet, but unplugged it sounds nice.
I'll try to get better pics tomorrow, it's too dark today.

The craftsmanship is excellent. The fret slots and fret set look precision. That fact that you added the optics is really ambitious and turned out great. The neck pocket joint looks nice and tight. If you milled the bridge and head string holder, then... well, you are the Man.

Does that string retainer work simply by using a set screw to hold the string in place? If I ever get around to finishing my second, I have an idea for a string retainer which works on the same principle. If that's how that one is made it is a huge relief to know that the idea is solid. |

Everything except pots, pickups, fretwire, LED switch, LED, wires and pot knobs are made by me myself. Oh and bridge saddles are from another bridge.
