Never before have been able to have a Bass built to my specs, but it is almost done. Anyone care to take a stab at who the builder is? Hint: West Coast

It's a beauty. Gold and red are regal.

Don't know enough about to hazard a guess on its maker, but two questions come to mind:
1. What particular specs did you want to have that you weren't available in a prod. bass?
2. How much-ball park.

Well, the first and foremost reason I had this built is due to the fact that it is a 32" scale Bass. I had been considering a Stu Hamm original Fender, so this was an alternative to that. As you know 32" scale basses leave your choices few and far between.

Some of specs....Ash Body, Maple fretboard, Soapbar Dual Coil Pups, Gotoh tuners w/gold hardware , Hipshot string through bridge,BQS EQ.

The color is the equivalent of Fender Chrome Red, it has a silver undercoat with lots of clear on top. I chose the color scheme and pick guard.

Think Fender on Steroids ! and at 1400.00 I think its moderately priced. More pics as I get 'em

Sweet, a strat bass! I'm digging the color scheme there, it looks really nice.

I've always wondered why Fender didn't put that Strat plug on the Jazz Bass. It would be a very good upgrade.

Nice. Bet you can't wait till it's done. I'd love to hear how it sounds, too.

hmm... a bass shaped like a strat...

pretty cool stuff. Like the colors and the mirror pickgaurd.

I'm sure you'll be able to confuse the hell out of a guitard with this thing

I agree but I'd prefer it be angled toward the strap button like the jack access hole is on some Ibanez basses. I find it easier to use that way.

Pretty bass, I like the Strat look.
