Check this out, this was my first compleated instrument. I never intended to sell it. I had to pawn a few things earlier this year to pay a few bills. So now here it is on ebay, I feel wierd about it. Oh well! http://cgi.ebay.com/10-string-HAND-M...29143003r25150 |

It's on my watch list now.
Be proud of your build, not everything works for everyone. Why do you think there are always so many custom made instruments for sale here and on the Bay.
I'm sure I would have an odd feeling if one of my creations ever went up on the Bay, but any I have sold I have always asked to be given first shot to buy them back. So far so good.

Not my cup of tea, but looks really good.
It sure is a strange feeling when You see your creation for sale. Especially for those who don't build/sell much.
That happened to me quite a while back. The weird looking pointy headless with reverse headstock (think Bich), was up on auction a couple of times, about a year apart. What surprized and pleased me the most was the fact that the bass was up on auction in 2006 & 07 IIRC and I made it in 1987.
Didn't buy it back .
The price was roughly the same as it was back in the late 80's.
Regards
Sam |

Every time I've listed an instrument on ebay I've received numerous inquiries from people wanting me to build them one.

It was so strange seeing my instrument on ebay, I kind of had a sinking feeling in my gut at first, but you wonderful people helped me to look at it in a different way.
Thanks,
John
P.s. I wonder if the person who buys it will expect a warranty? J.K. |
