Hi guys, I just came to show off my first Tru-Oil refinish. There's a before and after and more. I'm considering it a success, and that's all that matters. Feel free to ask questions.

Man, it's hard to beat the glow of Tru-Oil on quilted maple! Congratulations; it looks great!

And new DiMarzios as well, huh? :)

I really like that. It looks great. ctmullins is right. Any time you can show off a nice piece quilted maple, you're going to have a very nice looking instrument.

How does it feel to the touch?

Like the thighs of the girl in the Snorg Tees banner ad that is likely to the left of this. :)

thats awesome. but why would you want to refinish it in the first place? that cherryburst is pretty sexy.

I'm just not a big fan of red, and I really like to tinker and try new stuff.
