My latest; shortscale Jaguar in progress

Here's what I've been doing: a 30" scale Jaguar-shaped bass. It's going to be vintage white or cream, tortoise pg and cream DiMarzio P and Ultrajazz. Tuners are Wilkinson semi-open and bridge is Hipshot.

I can't wait to see the finish on this thing. I think you ought to yellow it a bit to give it a vintage but well cared for look and put a tortoise pickguard on it. That is one of my favorite looks.

shortscale is the way 2 go

most ppl I've talked to like fullscale basses, but I wouldent wanna play anything else but a shortscale. Check out the thread about the new Jags btw.
