My latest, 6 strings bass

Hi everyone,

Here is my latest bass made by myself:

6 strings bass
32 inches scale
Walnut body core
cherry topped with padouk wings
Birdseye maple bolt-on neck
Lacewood fingerboard
Wilkinson open gear tuners
no name trough body bridge
home made humbucker pickup in maple housing with neodium magnets
volume, tone and serial/parallel switch
Pickup located about where it should be to look good (no science here...)

Build time around 6 months...

looking great! any better pictures of that laminate top? it is done in a way i haven't seen before.

I like it- you've got some unusual things going on there; I'd also like to see lots more pics.

Nothing fancy there to be honest... the light colored line between the padouk and the walnut is what I think they call sapwood.

The two pieces are 1 inch cherry and 3/4 in padouk glues one over the other.

Maybe this picture will make you see what my french to english translator can't explain....
