Nice indeed...
We obviously need some info here, like topwood (bubinga?), body wood, neck woods, electronics, date of birth of your first born, etc... you know, basic stuff.

Matching bubinga pup covers with Bart jazz pups. Ebony F/B.

My first born was way back in `78.....yeah, I`m an old guy

Wow, you have some cool instruments on the photobucket site. Do you have a website?

The meltbody/squidhead is cool, and I like the fanned guitar too. What's the fretboard wood on that?

Thanks Peter,
The website is being built as we speak.
The fanned guitar is a completed 6 string with a Chechen Fanned f/b laying over the top. I`m building a multi-scale 8 string guitar in that shape and I had requests on another site to post a pic of what it was going to look like.

Now that's a very nice lady you have there.

And me being a fan of Bubinga, I'll need to take a crazy chance and ask you if I can have that bass hehe

i hope you dont mind, but i looked at your photobucket album.

i see some Ken Smith influence there!

do you do the inlay work yourself? i like the idea of the inlay work on the back of Jerry guitar with the carved back and all!

can you post more info and/or pics on that multi stringed bass with 2 jazz tilted pups? interesting stuff there

I guess there is a little ken Smith infuence in this one. I`ve always admired ken`s work.

Yes, that is my inlay work.

The 7 string bass I made about 15 years ago. I`ll post some pics tomorrow with the details. Time for a Beer ....it`s been a long day in the shop!!!

Thanks for the praise guys.

I checked my records and I built the bass back in 1985.
The pups are stacked Duncans and I disected and rewound the lower pup for a 3 pole pup, and the pole under the D string is a dummy. There weren`t many available pups for 7 strings with 19mm spacing back then (I do believe Ken Smith was the only one), so I had to improvise. I also made the bridge.

I made all of Dimebags prototypes and personal Washburns (I ran the custom shop back then). Those faxes are from when we were colaborating on the DimeSlime/BlackJack/DimeBolt models. He was a great guy to work with.
I miss that guy!!!
