I like it, but it is a copy of a Jaguar with a reverse headstock - got any more "out there" ideas?

try sliding up the upper horn a bit and pushing the bend in more, and i think this bass is screaming for 3 jazz pickups

I'd like to see just a complete reversed jag.
Would have balance issues though.

Another thing i think would look rather nice, would be a hollowbody jag, drop the pickguard, and with f holes. Topped off with some sort of really punchy pickups, i dunno, darkstars?

I was wondering if the reversed headstock was gonna give me trouble. Whats some problems I may encounter?

you really wouldnt run into many problems, because its still the same weight, the only thing that would possibly pose as a problem would be neck symmetry if you are making the neck yourself, you would have to either make it symmetric, or slant it toward the tuners in this case. good luck with your build cantwait to see it,

requests: try a marcus miller style pickguard, but not in black, and do you have any idea as to what color the bass is going to be, and what the hardware you're using is?
