I actually had plans plotted out for a Thunderberger before the Steinberger. I think that!s next.

So, will this become a full series? Non-reverse Thunderberger?
EB-O-Berger? Buzzardberger? El-two-kay-berger?

I love me some headless bass (although the double ball-end strings are a beast to find).
Hmmm... how about an Alemberger?

That's a myth. Even La Bella makes double ball strings.

Can't you get single ball adapters for most any headless system that can't take double balls, these days?

Your headless mashups are awesome! Good work on this one, as well as the Rickenberger. This is the kind of thing I wish I could do.

I like the thought of the Thunderberger, if for anything else, because the name is fantastic.

It's been ready for paint for quite some time now, but every time I contact Marty Bell, he's swamped.

BTW, I've decided to go with Corvette Yellow.

Should look great with all that black.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! Still waiting on Marty to free up. Corvette Yellow is the decided scheme. Shouldn't be long now for an unveil.

A Steinbonger would be an amazing thing.

But first up, give us some Steinray progress photos, man!

But will it end up sounding like a Stingray?

The pickups and the kind of pickups they are will probably not give that high-end toppy sound the 'ray is known for.

Nope. It will prolly sound like a Steiny, which is exactly what I'm going for.

When this is finished, do you think we could have the pleasure of some sound clips from the StingBerger and maybe even the Rickenberger?

*on knees begging*

Okay, who am I to tell you otherwise then?

On your Rickenberger, ever thought of getting in touch with Mike Rutherford, seeing as he played both the Rickenbacker 4001 and the Steinberger M series (Which he actually helped develop, they are an unofficial Rutherford signature model) I'm sure he'd be chuffed to see two of the instruments he's associated with coming together.
