My next project - Galveston LP copy

My first bass was a Galveston, and the other day I ran across a Galveson LP copy on the 'bay. So I bought it. Not exactly a bass, but 'eh'.

It has some mixed reviews online - some say they're crap, some say that they can make decent guitars with some upgrades (basically everything except the neck and body). Sounds like something easy to do in an apartment with no real 'shop', and get a playable guitar out of it (my old Peavey Raptor is in pretty rough shape).

Here's some pics from the auction. Expected delivery is on Thusday.

From what I have found out, Galvestons seem to be made by Un-sung musical instrument co. But this one seems to have a 'made in china' sticker, so I'm not sure. My 5 string bass is actually pretty decent with a couple new pups and tuners in it.
