My own Marcus Miller 5

So I'm a cheap and lazy teenager, like most, but I really want a Marcus Miller V bass. I'm still to cheap, so I just want something that's similar concept wise. I.E. Active/Passive, Block inlays, retro Neck pickup cover. I bought a Brice 5 string J bass knock off from a bassist at my church for $40. Its sparkle blue, similar to the paint of the Stu Hamm Urge basses, and has big block inlays. I'm willing to put some money into new electronics and maybe someday new tuners or something. But basically, after all my research I will be adding

DiMarzio Area DP249 Pickups
Audere JZ3 Preamp
Fender Jazz Chrome Bass pickup cover

I'll put up some starting pictures, of just the Brice itself, and once I get the parts I'll keep y'all posted. My goal is to eventually post sound clips to test to see how it sounds.
