My ReBop is buzzing!!!1

I have a Spector ReBop 5, with the EMG- HZ pickups and the tone pump circuit. I love the sound, but in certain rooms, when I turn the highs all the way up, I get some buzzing. It's particularly bad when I am near an electrical conduit. My bass will also piuck up my cell phone if it's too colse.

I can't believe there is no fix for this other than new pickups. What can you advise?

Also, I have a natural, and it is wearing out where my fingers hit when I slap. What can I do about this?

Considering those pickups are potted, I'm surprised if that's the problem. I would say it's a sheilding / grounding issue with the control cavity or the pre amp itself if it cannot ward off RF interference properly.
