My Tuners are too Big! What should I do?

Sign in to disble this ad
Im putting together an old Fender Musicmaster bass, and recently bought a neck for it on eBay. I then bought some 3/8 Hipshot Ultralites and the arrived today. They're a little too big and I'm trying to decide my next move. Should I drill or sand the holes in the neck to make them fit? Or should I find smaller tuners? I cant seem to find any small enough so I dont know how good of an option that is. Making the holes bigger would hurt the originality, though its just a musicmaster...

Thanks for Opinions, LB
