I've never really understood how NAMM works, do the companies rent a booth there or something, or are they invited to NAMM?

Just want to know for future reference

Greg

there different types of memebership

P= Press, invited to publicize the show for potential exhibitors and advertizers

A= artist, yea those guys in black playing gigs there.

V= visitor an associate of an exhibitor to help

S= Sponsered by an exhibitor to play there

E= Exhibitor you can buy any size booth you want for the dough

B= Buyer, they come to buy stuff!

I think that about sums it up
if you have the cash you can do anything in this world.
many boutique bass Co's share space
I.E
carey N
had tim from callowhill and bud lecompte in his booth (buds were in the pup booth though i think they were the nordstrand pups.
and the Low end bass shop has Schroeder cabs, benavente basses, low end basses and OBG distribution

AKA Strategic alignment space sharing
those who can benefit from eachother or are using eachothers products.

like accugroove and epifani having basses from all different maker that have thier amps playing
also the same works with string mf's and pup mfs.
hope that helps greg
Hows the bass coming???

I didnt spend all that much time at any one place I sell to about 15 bulders there and picked up a few new ones this year.

Well, the bass as of now is just the wood you sold me, taped together and ready to glue up. My neighbor was sick last weekend so I didn't get to start, but I have a half day this wednesday so I should be able to start then.

Thanks for the info Todd, and I'm glad you're pickin up some buyers. Maybe one year you should display some of you wood selection
