Hey folks, if this belongs in basses feel free to move it...
I recently got a 1993 warwick fortress one fretless, and the guy I got it from was using roundwounds on it, needless to say there are a few very minor marks on the fretboard from them. I like flats, so I wanted to smooth out the fretboard...

Does anyone know what fingerboard radius warwick used on their early fortress basses, if any?

it's a wenge fingerboard and what I was planning on doing was to sand a small amount off with a higher grit paper, then buff it super smooth with 0000 steel wool. and condition it w/ lemon oil....

Does anyone have any suggestions on good things to do/not to do?

Thanks!
