Need a bridge

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi again,

I need to find a 4 string bridge in satin chrome/satin silver, I have managed to get hold of the machine heads and knobs but the bridge is proving very hard to find.

I have searched a lot of guitar part sites and ive been looking on ebay for ages but i cant seem to find a stockist for bridges in this colour.

I was hoping some of you guys may have opted for this colour hardware at some time and may know where to get it from.

If you have any suggestions at all i would be very greatful.

Cheers.

I think I do. There is a seller on e-bay that sells individual bridges. I am not fond of them but he does have what you are looking for. These are them. I don't know what the sellers name is though.....T

thanks for the info, that is the colour im after, it doesnt have to be the individual bridges, anything in that colour is better than nothing.

So if anybody else knows of any stockists of any type of bridge in that colour it would be great to hear about them.

thanks again

P.S. one of the main problems is that i live in the uk and its just a nightmare to find parts, then when you do they dont always deliver to the uk.

available in:
shining gold, satin gold, shining chrome, satin chrome, black nickel bicolor, black chrome
Nice bridges, very adjustable, used by quite a few European luthiers, they make bridges for Jerzy Drozd amongst others.

wow, thats one stunning bridge,

I will look into them but i would hazard a guess it is probably out of my price range, im working to a fairly tight budget but as i said before im considering all the options as this colour seems so hard to come by.

cheers for the response guys

I bought the same bridge pictured a while back. With the engraving on it, I was able to get it for $76, which is cheaper than many.

I just pulled up the price quoted for my ETS bridge. I stated before that I payed $76, but it was really $73. That's also including shipping. The quote was as follows:

TF04, rounded, satin chrome - 55,24 US$
Engraving - 5,42 US$
sum - 60,66 US$
Luthiers' discount 10% - 6,06 US$
shipping - 19,00 US$
total - 73,60 US$

Also, the reason they don't state prices is because there are so many different options. Just email them requesting a price list. I would send it to people, but I have such a slow connection that it takes ages. If you do order from them, be sure to mention that you are a builder.

I have emailed them for a price list,

I find it hard to believe they could cost as little that but, In the uk even some nasty, cheap looking bridges cost a lot of money.

Hopefully i will be able to post the price list if/when i get it.

The price quote that I posted was for the exact bridge in Aj's post. Fairly reasonable...
