I am thinking getting rid of my barrel jack for something more reliable. It's a side mount, in a place where the body curves. Thinking about a Neutrik locking jack, but not sure how to mount it on a curved surface. How have others handled this? |

Fender did that with Telecasters, it's so slight that it hardly looks flattened at all, but it can be felt.

| | | | i dont think that the jack plate is large enough to have to worry about it. it should just sit very flush as is. i have never used them before but in all the pictures ive seen the plate looks less than an inch wide, anyone who has used them?

No problem if you're a bedroom player, but for those who play to an audience, that's a biggish deal. |

Thank you!
