Ok, so after some crazy weeks, upgrading my workshop and buying a few new machines, I was working in Jared bass. I was making the fingerboard to the final shape:

Then, I was working in the top, making the shape to fit the fingerboard... I think this burl and the ebony is a good combination!

Can you walk through your build process on the bookmatch to center with the fingerboard and glue-up stages? I'm about to start a bass with essentially the same config and want to make sure I know what I'm doing!

What I did is to put the top on the original drawing. Then, i put the fingerboard on the drawing, too. it needs to fit perfect the drawing to make an straight alignment . Then, I draw the fingerboard on the top. Then, I cut the top with my bandsaw, or we can use a fretsaw.
Guys, sorry for my English

Ok, so more work, more gluing... I was gluing the fingerboard on the neck, then. I glued the body wings.
After this, I take off the leftover part of the neck with a router, making a flat body surface, and finally I glued the body top.

Subbed. You sir, make beautiful instruments. I've dug your work since I saw that thread for the 15 stringer you made for Jauqo III-X. Can't wait to see how this turns out! Looking good so far!

Thank you, friends!

Body top was glued, and now body is clean with the final shape.

Next step, I will glue the headstock top.
